Door County family resorts build lasting friendships and memories
It seems like only yesterday we opened our doors for our first season in downtown Ephraim as Ephraim Shores Motel & Restaurant. Our goal was to be one of the premiere Door County family resorts that would provide guests with a lifetime of memories.
While the building has undergone a lot of cosmetic changes since those first days, one thing that has stayed the same is our commitment to making sure all of our guests enjoy themselves. We have watched families come up to Door County year after year and have seen children grow up and bring their kids back up to continue the tradition.
So in honor of our 50 wonderful years, we thought we would share some of the kind words our guests have shared with us.

We have watched our parents, children and now grandchildren embrace Ephraim Shores as a home away from home. Whether it’s our extended family vacation or a short stay for a Packer game, or just when we need to get away and go to a place that makes us relaxed, happy and wonderfully cared for. Your facilities provide great indoor and outdoor fun. And, most importantly, we feel the kindness you have shown to four generations of our family. This October 2019 will make the 31st continuous year we have come to stay at Ephraim Shores Resort. The staff has always been so accommodating to our families. We love having rooms together, the view of the water and the large front lawn and pool for the kids! The waterfront pier is delightful for sipping wine and watching the sunset! And the evening walk to Wilson’s Ice Cream Parlor takes a mere 2 minutes!

I always say that in my imagination Door County is forever summer, the way we enjoy it, just waiting for our return. The beautiful gardens at Ephraim Shores always blooming. Each year when it is time to hug our friends goodbye and head home, I truly leave a piece of my heart at Ephraim Shores in my beloved Door County…..and start planning our next visit.
